In fact, Barre[tend] Buffalo is all about making barre accessible for anyone and everyone who is interested.
This local barre studio is located right in the heart of Allentown and they have a tavern license. And yes, that means you can enjoy alcoholic beverages after (or during) your workout.
If you’re brand new to barre, you’re in luck. Flexibility is not a prerequisite here.
In fact, the owner Megan Leith started Barre[tend] Buffalo to welcome women without ballet or dance backgrounds. Personally, she has very tight muscles and really struggles with any type of stretching and yoga. Sound familiar? You just might fall in love with this place too.Barre[tend] is new-ish to the neighborhood, but it has definitely created a supportive community. All of the teachers here take the time to get to know their students. If you come to a class here, you can expect some chatting and even a little giggling.
Barre[tend] is currently offering barre classes virtually via Zoom and in person with limited capacity. Whether you’re looking for a full body workout or a class to target a specific muscle group, they have options for you. Plus, they have mini trampoline classes and a beginners running program.
Did we mention the bar is always open? You can grab a can of Pinot when you arrive or after class. P.S. If you’re not feeling the class vibe right now, you can host your own private party.
