1. Good Guys Deli and Grill
315 Jersey St, Buffalo, NY 14201
Matt says: One of the most underrated places on the West Side! A small place; they’ve got some basic items and
one of the best steak subs you can get anywhere. The best items are the Chicken Shawarma, Steak Sub, Chicken Fingers and Stinger Sub. The guys who work there really uphold the name of the establishment.

2. Montes Grocery & Deli

Matt says: One of the best corner stores around with amazing Puerto Rican food. It’s a very casual spot to pick up food, not somewhere you sit in and dine, and obviously, it’s a mini grocery too. Montes Deli is the best place in Buffalo for Pastelitos. You can get a whole meal for under $10.

3. Niagara Deli & Pizzeria

Matt says: When you say hidden gem, Niagara Deli is at the top of the list. Some of the best Pizza and Wings you can find anywhere in Buffalo!

next to Canisius College and Medaille College campuses, it is a great, quick and convenient spot for students in the neighborhood.

Matt says: One of the most convenient and all you would need spots on a lunch break run Downtown. The sandwiches are prepared to order and there are plenty of different salads to choose from daily. This is absolutely one of the best hidden little lunch spots in downtown Buffalo.

A great one-stop shop in the Elmwood Village area. Elmwood Market has a lot to offer and cheap prices. They have great breakfast sandwiches and deli sandwiches! It is a great place for a quick lunch in the area.
